Privacy Statement

We respect the privacy of visitors to our website and ensure that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially. Personal data is processed in a manner that complies with the requirements set forth in privacy legislation.

Purposes of Data Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • enabling you to email, print, or share a page via social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn;

After obtaining your consent, we also use your personal data to:

  • tailoring our content to your interests, so that, for example, you do not see ads on Google or Facebook that have no added value;

We will not process your personal data for any purposes other than those mentioned above, unless you have given your prior consent or we are permitted or required to do so by law.

We use the following data for the purposes set forth in this Privacy and Cookie Policy:

  • Company name and details (to the extent that these constitute personal data);
  • Name and address details of the contact person;

Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

We do not disclose your data to third parties without your prior consent, unless this is necessary for the performance of the agreement or we are required to do so by law.

Personalized Ads via Google Ads

At Club Vido, we want our ads to be as relevant to you as possible. That’s why we may use data you’ve provided to us—such as your name, email address, or phone number—to show you targeted ads through Google Ads. We do this using Customer Match, a Google feature. Your data is sent to Google securely and in encrypted form.
If your information matches a Google account, Google may display our ads on platforms such as Google Search, YouTube, Gmail, and websites in the Google Display Network.

We never sell your data or share it with any third parties outside of Google. It is used solely to display ads that are relevant to your previous interactions with us. If you’d prefer not to see personalized ads from us via Google, you can adjust this setting in your Google account at https://myadcenter.google.com. You can also object to the use of your data for these ads. We will then ensure that your data is removed from our ad list during the next update.

Security

We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data. For example, we ensure that only authorized personnel have access to your data, that access to the data is protected, and that our security measures are regularly reviewed. In addition, we use SSL certificates to ensure the secure transmission of your data and communications.

Cookies

Cookies are small files of information that can be automatically stored on or read from a visitor’s device (such as a PC, tablet, or smartphone) when visiting a website. This occurs via the web browser on the device.

Our website uses cookies or similar technologies that store and/or retrieve information on the device (for ease of reading, all such technologies are referred to hereinafter as “cookies”) to:

  • enable website functionality and protect the website (technical or functional cookies);
  • analyze the use of the website and improve the website based on that analysis (analytics cookies);

The information a cookie collects about your use of the website may be transferred to our own secure servers or those of a third party engaged by us for this purpose.

Technical or functional cookies

Some cookies ensure that certain parts of the website function properly and that your user preferences are retained. For example, cookies may be used to render fonts correctly, to remember your browsing session on the web server so you can view the website, or to remember a search term used within the website or a selected filter. The technical and functional cookies we use are:

  • First-party cookies (for storing user data and hiding information after a first visit to the website);

Analytical cookies

We also use Google Analytics cookies so that Google can provide us with insights into how our website is used, generate reports about the website for us, and offer us information about the effectiveness of our campaigns. The information we obtain in this process, including your computer’s address (IP address), is transmitted to Google and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google that sets out the terms for handling the collected data. In this agreement, we have not permitted Google to use the information obtained for other Google services. However, Google may disclose information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or to the extent that such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no further influence over this. More information about data processing by Google Analytics can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy and in the Google Analytics Privacy Policy.
